Welcome!
Helping couples reconnect, communicate, and build a relationship that lasts.
You love your partner — but lately it feels like you're missing each other. Maybe you're lying awake wondering, how did we get here? Maybe you're the one who holds everything together, quietly wondering who's there for you. Or maybe you're both successful, both exhausted, and both unsure how to bridge the distance that's grown between you.
If you've caught yourself thinking I can't keep doing this, but I don't know what needs to change — couples therapy can help you slow down, understand what's happening beneath the surface, and find a different way forward together.
Meet Ashlee Slattery, M.A., LMFT
Hi! I am Ashlee Slattery, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #136870) and owner of Landscapes Family Therapy in Temecula, California. My practice centers on three groups whose needs I have come to know well:
-
Couples who love each other but feel like they're missing each other — stuck in the same arguments, drifting apart under stress, or unsure how to rebuild trust and connection.
-
High-functioning and medical professionals — physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, along with executives and other demanding-career professionals — and their partners. The pressure of a career where you're always "on," always competent, always needed, doesn't stay at work. It shows up at home, and it's rarely something you can talk about with colleagues.
-
Individuals and couples navigating co-occurring concerns — where mental health and substance use overlap, or a medical condition is inseparable from anxiety, depression, or relationship strain. These concerns rarely exist in isolation, and treating only one piece often means the rest keeps resurfacing.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based care, balancing deeper understanding of what's driving the pattern with practical tools you can use right away.

Brave your inner terrain.
Whether your life's terrain is rugged, beautiful, or wild...
This is a place to stop, take a breath, and connect with a meaningful life.
This is a safe and nonjudgmental environment to foster growth. All walks of life are welcome.

Why Should I Choose Private-Pay Therapy?
I work on a private-pay basis — no insurance billing — which matters most for the people I work with:
-
True confidentiality — this is especially important for professionals whose licensure, credentialing, or workplace standing could be affected by an insurance-required diagnosis on record.
-
No diagnostic label required — many couples and individuals are seeking growth, not a clinical diagnosis, and private pay doesn't require one.
-
Treatment built around you — session frequency, length, and approach are shaped by what you actually need, not an insurance company's session limits.
-
Room for complexity — co-occurring concerns (mental health + substance use, or mental health + a medical condition) rarely fit neatly into a single insurance-covered diagnosis.
-
Flexibility for demanding schedules — including intensive formats for professionals and couples who need focused, accelerated support rather than an open-ended weekly commitment.
