Couples Intensives

For some couples, attending couples therapy on a weekly or biweekly basis can be challenging. Perhaps the scheduling is difficult, or perhaps you need to see changes now. Intensives are a great way to speed up the process and overcome scheduling difficulties. Our intensives offer a Gottman Couples Therapy approach and specially tailored skills based upon your unique needs and goals.

The Process

We will begin with a phone consultation to discuss what you hope to achieve. You can decide if you would like a 1 or 2-day long Couples Intensive. We would then schedule a 90-minute Assessment session, and the Couples Intensive session(s). You will be provided with journaling prompts and intake paperwork to complete prior to your assessment appointment. Then, we proceed with the sessions as scheduled. You will walk away with new skills to practice together and continue to grow in your relationship.

The Format

Journaling Prompts
90 Minute Assessment
1 or 2 days of 4-hour Intensive sessions (1 hr break per day)
